Hello everyone for those of you new here I’m Lexi professional tarot reader, reiki master, romance writer and homeschooling mom. I’m a real witch who practices what I preach and I firmly believe everyone should be. Anyway let’s get into today’s blog post.
Theme: We’re talking about a question I’ve been getting a lot lately on Instagram.
“Where did you go? How can I work with you again?”
Well, I’ve honestly taken a little break from working with clients. I’m trying my best to shift my focus on things I can provide without having to do tarot readings and reiki sessions. In the future you will see a lot more group work being offered. For now my personal and one on one sessions are still available for purchase through my shop page.
This was a personal choice of mine as my life season I’m currently in has drastically changed. My older child is home with me now homeschooling full time and that in itself is a full time job. I want to make room for my clients in not only a personal way but, I truly do believe in the power of group spiritual work and how that can help people.
What will be changing
So, with that being said here are something’s that will be changing for the next year and forseeable future.
I don’t feel the need to show up on social media anymore. I need to spend more time with family and creating and less time posting. This is going to be a great way to give back to all my readers and clients.
Each week I’ll be doing blog posts and there will be a “paid” portion you can look at to get a group tarot reading or reiki healing. I think this is going to be the best us of my time for now. I’ll be focusing on my children and writing my books.
Books:
Speaking of books my books and works are currently on GoodNovel and will also be able to be found on babelnovel and Kindle Vella. I’ll be linking them here. Click the links in that is your jam. I love hearing from readers and anyone who is interested in my work.
I’m also going to be posting some free, and some paid short stories. These will be a mix of fiction and non fiction so please enjoy and let me know which ones are your favorites. You can also find my writing on medium over there.

Today’s short. sweet. and a valuable article I wanted to bust some myths on tarot.
You will see a lot of people saying on TicTok that if you’re going to read tarot cards your first deck has to be gifted to you.
Myth number one:
Wrong.
Absolutely not. My first deck was bought for me because I was twelve and had no money, not because it had to be gifted to me.
If you draw the Death card someone close to you will die.
Myth Number Two
False. Honestly, I’ve had one instance in my entire life where that happened. Mostly it just means change. Change is coming for you. Get ready.
You have to become certified to read tarot
Myth Number Three
No one certified me. No. one. I learned mostly on my own and with the help of my mother. There are classes to understand the cards better. However, that is not a “thing” you must do in order to read tarot cards.
At the end of the day people will always have an opinion about what you should be doing or how you should be doing it. Breath, take your time and if it doesn’t feel right don’t do it friend.

Eclipses give you what you need to know- not what you want to know. This can be very tricky. This is why we don’t manifest during this season of our lives. I find it best to start and formulate plans instead.

When we look at this card we need to seek our emotions. Things might be hard right now for you during this eclipse season and get ready to bring your attention to reestablish your connection to your greater sense of purpose.
This might be forced on you. You could be potentially gunning for promotion that you don’t get. Be prepared for a lot of delays this season. It’s okay to experience delays. You’re actually being saved from something that wasn’t for you anyway.

So I’m actually a terror reader who does read reversal cards. I believe that they can be impactful and enlightening to your reading. A lot of other tarot readers do not read reversals and that’s okay.
A reversal car to me is like a whisper a warning of what you need to straighten up internally in your life.
So whenever we’re looking at the three of wands, we’re seeing that growth and expansion are available to you. But it is up to you to take that grasp and to really move forward with your life.
If you live inside of habitual laziness this is going to be some concern for you. A great action step moving forward would be for you to build a routine on not getting in your own way.

I truly love these daily prompts because they can keep me connected with all of you through a separate lens. This question is so interesting when you put it in the form of our spiritual connection to money and manifesting it. This is also something I speak with my clients a lot about. Everyone who books a reading always wants to know. “When am I going to get X amount of money or this new job?”
Depending on the reading some times I can smell this question coming from a mile away. Sometimes there is a stillness with it. I usually ask my clients the following question. Have you made room in your life for this job or more money?
Are you ready to make the commitment to hustling for that money? If, you hesitate then I always believe it’s time to reevaluate where your life is here and this instance. How badly would you want it?
Tarot always gives us little bread crumbs on where to go with our lives. No matter what the question is. But, we always have free will when it comes to the choice that we make. However, we can not expect for the money or job or whatever we are trying to bring into our lives to come to us easily. It won’t ever happen that way.
My top tarot cards I love that come up in readings revolving money are The Star, The World, and The Ace of Cups. All of these beautiful cards bring a yes answer but each one depending on their position in the reading can help you or let you know what you need to be focusing on right now.

How does this relate to the daily prompt above?
Well, personally if I had the extra money, I don’t know if I’d give it away. I think I’d ask my tarot cards what I should be doing with it first. Some people might say this is stupid. But, what if a better plan then giving it away to someone is to help them start a business with it instead? Ask yourself this question. How can that money help this person the most and make them a better person? How can you support their continued growth?
Anyways. That is what I’d do with my cool one million. It’s not out landish. But, I’m not that kind of person.

I needed a good book. I haven’t felt the seasons change in about seven years as we lived in Florida and it was so tropical I could go swimming in my pool on Christmas day.
Since we moved back to North Carolina almost a year ago now. I love it but I’m still getting used to the cold. Seasonal depression is real and books are my way of coping through those darker days and darker feelings.
If you’re someone who suffers through seasonal depression maybe it would be a good idea for you to pick up a good scary book too. Or you can give me some tips on how to handle it? What do you do? Books are going to be my savior this year and so is soup. I’ll be sharing my favorite soup recipe too.

What Have I been Up too lately?
I’ve been listening to the audio book of The Southern Book Clubs Guide to Slaying Vampires. It did not disappoint. Yes, listening to an audiobook also counts as reading it in my book. Don’t let anyone shame you for your reading tastes or the way you go about consuming books period!
This book had me from the jump.
The narrator of this book was amazing. I highly recommend the audio book version because she brought this book to life. We follow stay at home house wives through their lives in the eighties and nineties. We follow Patricia threw her life as she has given up being a nurse to be a stay-at-home wife. She falls in love with his book club in the comradery. She creates with these other women who she feels like understands her.
But odd things begin to happen when this man comes into town and befriends. Patricia.
People begin to think she’s kind of crazy for talking about some of the odd things that are happening to her whenever. Everybody loves her new friend in town.
But the book takes you through a whirl wind of darkness and good old fashioned ’90s nostalgia. Which I’m totally here for.
It’s the perfect book to curl up with when you want to turn off your brain. Not think. Grady Hendrix is the master at getting inside your head and not being able to let go of what you are doing. I listened to this book every chance I could get. I could not put it down. He sucked me in so good. If, you’re a fan of scary books this month. Please don’t walk run to go find this book. I read it through my local library on the Libby app. (I’m not affiliated with the Libby app in any way, nor do I receive any endorsement and what I’m about to say.)
The Libby app is amazing for getting digital library books if you can’t find them or don’t have the time to stop by your local library. You do need a library card for it to work though. Simply go to your local library, present a water bill or electricity bill and your ID and they’ll give you a library card free of charge. You’ll have access to hundreds of thousands of books through the Libby app and you know whatever you can put on loan at your library if you want a physical copy.

I’m Angry:
Often times when we experience the death or loss of something we can become angry in our process of grief and letting go of what this made us be. It one of the stages of grief for a reason after all. Spirit can also experience this on the other side. This is not the Haunting Of Hill House type of angry though. There are no dead people dragging you into wells to your death to replay out their pain. No.
Spirit can become angry in the sense they will not understand how to move on and let go of how things went here. They are working with their spiritual team on this, but sometimes they can become lost in their emotions and they replay events over and over again.
They don’t mean to be difficult, however on the other side they will be forced to relive these moments to understand the choices they made and how they effected others.
How does this work for me?
My best advice to my clients is to work through your anger issues now. While you’re alive. Once you have died you have to come to someone like me a psychic medium, and I personally love to see my dead people, however they don’t always love to see me. So, while your alive it’s okay to see someone anyone about your anger. A friend, a licensed therapist, a spiritual counselor (like myself) anyone. Work on it because you deserve to not hold onto it. That anger eats at you, and feeds you sickness. Let it go before it can destroy you.
Here Is The Guide Book Definition:
Oh, the type of spirit that most people are afraid of. This is usually the spirit that brings all the stereotypical adverse feelings people have about or towards these types of interactions. The reality of spirit work is it’s not all love and light or sadness. All feelings are valid and need to be expressed for spirit to move on- anger being one of the more challenging ones. Rest assured, just as any other traumatic feeling rises, so too can anger move then pass. You will be okay. After they let you know what’s taking place, it’s important to let them know that there will be forgiveness for any actions taken or word spoken in the heat of the moment. Remain calm, take slow breaths, and let them out..

In the waking world, we can become attached to so many different fabrics of our lives. These fabrics can weave either healthy or unhealthy relationships with ourselves, or with other people.
Attachments I found for the living can be things that anchor us mostly to moments that bring us comfort. The one good thing about our comfort is it’s predictability and keeping us safe and knowing exactly what’s going to happen next.
And as much as we all love and enjoy being comforted, we don’t grow inside of comfort.
We only grow inside of moments in which we can’t see beyond the horizon.
So for things that we are attached to moments mechanisms for coping that bring us comfort. I’m going to challenge you this week to let that go.
Experience life through a lens without these comforts without these attachments and see how much more you are challenged and where you can find your bravery at.
This can be in small moments of you. Feeling like you couldn’t possibly step out of your home or it can be found in moments where you couldn’t possibly change a tire.
This week somebody is going to come into your life that forces you away from these attachments and pushes you to dive deeper into the next layer of your self-awareness and self-esteem.
How will this work out for me?
Look for this person. Look for these situations and know that your spiritual people and your dead people are supporting you even though this can be very scary.
The Guide Book Definition:
Similar to addiction, when Spirit has an attachment, it affects them in very real and traumatic ways. Attachments can be to their addictions, to emotional struggles, to trauma, to other people, even still in the physical.
No matter the case, this thing has most likely become a part of their identity. Fabric. Spirit themselves can also have spirit attachments, and if that’s the case you can talk to that other spirit just as you would for the one who engaged in this conversation. A lot of the time. Attachments are based in a fear of letting that one thing go only furthering the obsessions/ engagement in that addiction, destructive behavior, pattern, or interference with a certain person perspective and patience is needed here.
To help you move forward, I will give you a series of questions you can journal about this week.
Action Steps I Can Take:
When getting readings, I love to give my clients real world action steps that they can take that promote’s inward, reflection and quiet. I’ve found journaling fits best for this.

How do you think this person or thing feels that need?

Hey, Welcome back to the blog. It’s me Lexi I’m a professional tarot reader and writer. It’s nice to “see” you here. I love reading tarot cards for people and myself. But, I do know that sometimes when we are at home pulling cards we might get confused as to how the messages are relating back to our real world lives. Let me help you with m fool proof way of understanding each of my readings.
Number one: Pause and Reflect
Take a moment to sit with the reading and your initial reaction to it.
Consider your current life circumstances, emotions, and the specific question or issue you had in mind when doing the reading.
Sometimes, the cards may be reflecting something you’re not consciously aware of, so be open to exploring the symbolism and imagery in the cards.
Keeping a journal of past readings seriously help’s with this as there might be a moment that I missed. I often find that these moments I’m missing tie the whole things together.
Number Two:
Ask Clarifying Questions:
If the reading feels confusing or vague, ask clarifying questions to the cards. For example, you can say, “Can you provide more insight into this aspect of the reading?” or “What should I focus on to better understand this situation?”
Pull additional cards to shed light on specific areas or cards that seem unclear
Sometimes I switch decks up to help with this. It’s okay to mix your decks. Don’t be scared.
Number Three:
Consult a Tarot Guide or Reader:
If you’re still having trouble making sense of the reading, consider seeking guidance from an experienced tarot reader or consulting tarot literature and resources.
A knowledgeable tarot reader can provide insights into the symbolism and interpretation of the cards that may not be immediately obvious.
Remember that tarot readings can sometimes be abstract or symbolic, and their meaning may become clearer over time as events unfold in your life. It’s also essential to trust your intuition and personal connection with the cards. If a particular interpretation doesn’t resonate with you, feel free to explore alternative interpretations until you find one that aligns with your intuition and the situation you’re facing.

Hello, everyone from my corner of the internet. I’m back reading tarot again and wanted to share my experiences so far. Every time I walk away from tarot reading I’m in this weird position of “should I go back to the real world?” Have a normal themed job.
For some people we have no choice. Tarot reading is a hobby and that’s okay and perfect. Every time I try and go down that path. Something leads me back here. So, I’m listening spirit instead of resisting.
I’ve always secretly and not so secretly wanted more. I need more. When I step into the role of tarot reader, I love it, I feel fulfilled. It connects me with people in a way I always wanted.

Let’s Talk Tarot Addition:
One simple thing that brings me joy. Is definitely my tarot deck.
Every morning I have a ritual I partake it like the rest of the world. I need my morning coffee. But, why just be coffee? Why not make it magical instead. I try to wake up before the rest of my house but that does not always work out they way I want it too. But, when it does those moments are fucking glorious . I encourage everyone who cohabitates with people to get up in silence at least once a month if you can.
I get up and enjoy my silence and I bring out my trusty tarot deck. It’s not always the same deck, or even a tarot deck sometimes. I always close my eyes and say a little prayer if thats even the word I want to use to describe this. In my mind and in my body I always say I’m “taking stock of my spiritual body and my physical body.”
I’m listening. I usually ask the tarot cards or whatever deck I’m working with a question. Yes, you can ask tarot decks a question and it will answer you back. The trick is to not think too much about this. We just do it here.
I shuffle my deck quite a few times and I wait for a card to pop out. The card that pops out is my answer. My direction of where I need to be leading my thoughts and interactions with others for the day. This is a practice that has grounded me and actually kept me from getting into fights with other people.

Nine of Wands: A personal power card for me. I’m at a crossroads right now for my life. What do I want to make work and what do I need to stop being stubborn about?
